Little Jess is Married

The wedding went very well. Jess was gorgeous. I had to hold back sobs as hubby and Jess appeared. The look on his face was pure love for her. I told the hubby later when the party was in full swing, I know she is not ours, but I feel like our little girl just got married. I hope they are always as happy together as they were on Thursday.
I can only hope we are blessed with a daughter of our own for him to have this experience again. I swear there are times when I am perfectly happy not having any kids, but there are other times when my arms ache to hold a child that is apart of both of us.
I learned that I still have a lot to learn on the photography front. I may have also figured out if I do become a professorial at this that weddings may not be my cup of tea. There were so many variables that came in to play. Some pictures are not to bad others, well they went bye, bye. Luckily I took several shots of each pose so I did not miss any of the important events of the wedding. I also got my feelings hurt. This should not have bothered me at all. Really. Jessica's new hubby does not have a lot of family. I know his parents passed away, but that is about all I know. The people that have raised him said something about knowing some professional that didn't have a 50 dollar camera to do the wedding photos. I admit I got angry, but just let it go. The thing is my camera is not a 50 dollar camera, not that there is anything wrong with a 50 dollar camera but that is not what I have. It is not like I charged them for the taking of the pictures. Heck I am even paying to have them printed out. Jess knew that this would be a learning experience for me and was cool with it. So, needless to say between my not so hot pictures and this person I am feeling  sorry  for myself. But, I will not let that stop my enjoyment of taking pictures, nor will I let this person steal my happy memories of this day because I had a blast. And now some of the better pictures for your enjoyment.

She made a beautiful bride

Hubby is on the left, Groom in the middle, and the best man on the  right.

Cutie Pie as the flower girl and her sister, who helped her with the task.

Yeah this is the holding back the sobs moment.

Moments after the kiss.

Garter time

Her feet were killing her in those shoes. A sweet moment no one else noticed.

A toast was being made in both of their honor. They look radiant together.

Oh boy....*fanning self*

I always do that when I'm trying NOT to get teary eyed.

Gosh--dunno HOW you managed taking photos. What a lovely collection of captured moments.
Congratulations to her......and him...and you and yours!
