Back to Normal

I guess life is back to normal, or as normal as life can be. We are now off the road for good. I am sad about this. The hubby and I both miss it terribly, but money became an issue. We were in no way making enough money to pay our bills. So, he has gone back to his  old job, and I have gone back to mine. I was not going to go back to Wal Mart, but when you need a paycheck and a job lands in your lap you take it. I am glad that I get to work with the Hello Kitty Lady again. Hubby got really really sick for about a week. Today was his first day back to work. He got a ut infection which spread really really fast to his kidneys and his blood stream. After 3 trips to the er, I am thankful to say he is better. My Momma came down and helped me look after him while I was in orientation. She also cleaned our house and did the laundry. I appreciate it so much! Thanks for all the help Mom!!

Total Frustation

We spent the last 2 and half days in Iowa at a ruck stop. We get up this morning have a breakfast buffet at a near by casino (which was really good). We made in back to the shop just before noon to see if we could do our laundry here cause it is free at the shop. We were getting out of the truck when the apu starts acting up again. Doing the same thing it did when we got the truck. We spent four hours not even a week ago in the outside in the heat at thermo king cause they do not allow dogs in the drivers lounge, They replaced the motherboard on the apu but it is still doing the same thing again. It seems like nothing is going right.

Thankful Thoughts

Enjoying spending time with my hubby on a daily basis.

Knowing we are one day closer to picking up the pups and hitting the open road.

Hopefully a visit (even if it is a quick one) to the Hello Kitty Lady.

She is a friend I made while working!!

Knowing we wont be eating Golden Corral again tomorrow.

(The new company hubby is working for is nice enough to feed the drivers only thing is it is the same place every night. We have decided to save the gift card and go to the place across the street for dinner tomorrow.)

And We Have a Plan

We have decided on a company. We will also be leasing our own truck. We are becoming our own little trucking company. I am so excited. Hubby and I will be going on vacation the beginning of June. Then we start trucking across the country.

We also have 3 graduations to attend in the coming weeks. Big Will graduates the 31st. He has received a full four year football scholarship. I can not believe he is graduating. It seems like just yesterday he was snuggled in my arms calling me Jaja.

Little Momma is also graduating on the 29th. She is graduating a year early. We found out that she is pregnant so she started a different school so she is able to finish before the baby gets here which will be in July.

My Momma is also graduating in June. I am so proud of her and my Daddy would be also.

I Miss My Hubby

The company Steve works for was running out of bagel pans. So they sent Steve on a run to Kanasa. He left this this morning about six and he will not be back until late Sunday night or early Monday morning. I talked to him a little bit ago and he was in Kansas, but still has an hour and half to get where he was going. I miss him like crazy. Three days being away from him is a long time. I know we are lucky he found a trucking job that is not over the road, and is home every day. I am just not used to him being gone like this. OK sorry I had to whine a little. Love you baby.
