Cough, Sneeze, and Other Amusing Activies

Grief, hubby and I have been coughin, sneezin, blowin, and umm other sicky time stuff. It is so much fun, NOT!!!! I think we are finally on the mend, but I will be really glad when this cough is gone, it hurts.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day. We did. Not only is Valentines day a day of love, but it also serves as the anniversary of when the hubby and I got engaged. Hard to believe it has been 13 years. We had two whole days together.Yes, two whole days without any interruptions from the hubby's boss. The reason for that is hubby got the job he has been holding out for. He is no longer on the road. We thought he would have to wait for at least four more months before this position opened up, but things change and hubby finally, finally has two days off again, and a set schedule!!!! He is so happy, and that makes me happy, which makes him happy, well, I think you get the drift.

We went to see a movie which we haven't done in about four years. I took lots of pictures, got to shoot some pool, had a lovely dinner in a little alley that was beautiful, and did I mention that the weather was so great about 65 in the evening....weird that is this warm, but I'm loving it. We found a new camera store, that is closer, and they were so friendly. The gentleman that helped us explained a lot, he even looked at the lens I got for Christmas. He even brought questions to my attention that I was afraid to ask cause I didn't want to sound stupid. Yes, I know the only way to learn is to ask.Yes I know. The lens I got for Christmas was a no go......they think dust got in the motor, and the noise it was making was not a good one. We asked if it was worth to try and fix it, they said no.....but they gave us a great deal on a floor model lens that was almost the same focal length. I, of course had to put the new lens to work, so we made an unplanned visit to the Botanical Gardens. Hubby spoils me so.....




I forgot we also went and fed the duckies.......We were surrounded by ducks, pigeons,birds, and more ducks, and more birds. There was one point in time where hubby and I could not move our feet without stepping on someone....Yes I have pics. I am in the middle of editing.
